Creed is presented as an act of remembrance. Each image, constructed during the first Covid 19 lockdown, utilises the domestic object as a motif for honouring, for mourning and for the hope of resolution. Commissioned by Dr Aaron Rosen (author of Art and Religion in the 21st Century) it utilised our strange and complex days to produce a group online exhibition for Image Journal. Working day by day, week by week, in tandem with other artists, Creed was a comfort to make, providing personal catharsis and collaborative understanding.
